This is a Type 56 Chest Rig, used by many military's and insurgence around the world for many decades. Soviets used some during the Afghanistan conflict in the 80s,when they grab some off of prisoners and the fallen. Until they produced their own version. They were also seen in US in Vietnam, African conflicts and in the 2000s,
This one appears to have been used in the field, at some point in it life. Appears to be Chinese made. Made from a heavy duty canvas like material. Still has plenty of life left in it. Grab this one for your military collection.
